SNOW FUNGUS

Tremella fuciformis is a species of fungus; it produces white, frond-like, gelatinous basidiocarps (fruiting bodies). It is widespread, especially in the tropics, where it can be found on the dead branches of broadleaf trees. This fungus is commercially cultivated and is one of the most popular fungi in the cuisine and medicine of China.[1] Tremella fuciformis is commonly known as snow mushroom, snow fungus, snow ear, silver ear fungus, and white jelly mushroom. In Mandarin Chinese it is called “Silver Ear”. The snow fungus’ fruit bodies (“ears”) are gelatinous, watery white, and composed of thin but erect, seaweed-like, branching fronds, often crisped at the edges. Snow Fungus has been cultivated in China since at least the nineteenth century and the extract has traditionally been used in women's beauty products from China, Korea, and Japan. The fungus is famed to increases moisture retention in the skin, prevent senile degradation of micro-blood vessels in the skin, reduce wrinkles and smooth fine lines. It's also traditionally used in Chinese sweet dishes. Although it does not have a sweet taste, its gelatinous nature and supposed health benefits make it an addition to many drinks and ice creams. Snow fungus has been appraised for its medicinal benefits, namely anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor. In Chinese families, it is commonly used in soups cooked for soothing purposes like nourishing the bodies, healing dry coughs, and clearing heat in the lungs

NEPHORIA

ORANGE BLOSSOM

A delicately vibrant flower that unfurls from the branches of orange trees, the orange blossom is a traditional symbol of good fortune and a long-heralded component of french perfumes and middle eastern cuisine alike. Orange blossom has been known to firm and tone the skin as well as soothe inflammation and impart moisture for a luminous and hydrated glow.

VITAMIN E/TOCOPHEROLS

TURKEY TAIL

Trametes versicolor – also known as Coriolus versicolor and Polyporusversicolor – is a common polypore mushroom found throughout the world. Meaning 'ofseveral colors', versicolor reliably describes this fungus that displays different colors. Forexample, because its shape and multiple colors are similar to those of a wild turkey, T.versicolor is commonly called turkey tail. TT is considered safe for use as an adjunct therapyfor cancer treatment in Japan where it is known as kawaratake (roof tile mushroom) andapproved for clinical use. TT has been used around the world for centuries to treat various conditions. Turkey tail contains an impressive array of antioxidants, including phenols and flavonoids. Polysaccharopeptides are protein-bound polysaccharides (carbohydrates).Krestin (PSK) and Polysaccharide Peptide (PSP) are two types of polysaccharopeptides found in turkey tail. Both PSK and PSP possess powerful immune-boosting properties. They promote immune response by both activating and inhibiting specific types of immune cells and by suppressing inflammation. Turkey tail also contains prebiotics, which help nourish these helpful bacteria.

CHAGA

Chaga mushrooms have been used for centuries in Siberia and other parts of Asia as a medicine to boost immunity and improve overall health.Chaga mushroom (Inonotus obliquus) is a type of fungus that grows mainly on the bark of birch trees in cold climates, such as Northern Europe, Siberia, Russia, Korea, Northern Canada and Alaska. Chaga is also known by other names, such as black mass, clinker polypore, birch canker polypore, cinder conk and the sterile conk trunk rot (of birch). Chaga produces a woody growth, or conk, which looks similar to a clump of burnt charcoal from the exterior. However, the inside reveals a soft core with an orange color.
